HEALTH AND WELLBEING

Thorpe Park

In recognising the changing requirements of businesses and their employees, Thorpe Park Leeds looks beyond the provision of high quality physical infrastructure to attract and retain occupiers.

Organisations wishing to support their employees changing commuting requirements can tap into free dedicated business support provided by sustainable transport consultants. This service aids the transition towards the increased use of active, sustainable and flexible transport options.

Alongside travel support, a wider community engagement initiative – ParkLife – offers platform for businesses and employees to engage, collaborate and socialise. Focused around a community website and membership scheme, ParkLife delivers a proactive programme of events for health and wellbeing, fundraising and socialising. Members receive discounts at a range of local retailers and service providers, offering an added benefit associated with working at the park.

Employers also get access to support for local employment, apprentice training, business operation and community engagement. This includes a free service for businesses that are recruiting or taking on apprentices, access to grants to invest in the skills of the workforce through the Leeds City Region, a work experience programme through Head Start aimed at supporting young people to gain sustainable employment and schools engagement support through Leeds Education Business Partnership.
